The DAST:
- Stands for The Drug Abuse Screening Test

- A sensitive screening instrument for the abuse of drugs other than alcohol
CAGE & T-ACE:
- 4 item self report screen
- Used for the detection of alcoholism and/or risky alcohol use
CRAFFT (for adolescents):
- Six question Screening tool for use with adolescents under the age of 21
- Recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics' Committee on Substance Abuse for use with adolescents
